It's time to end the War on Immigrants Now!

As those of you who have been following my campaign or attended one of my campaign events know, I have been speaking out against the war on immigrants and the threat that it poses to our personal liberties from day one. As an attorney, I've worked on this issue as well, fighting to protect immigrants against the abuse of government power. So this issue is one where I’ve put my money where my mouth is from the start.  This is not about politics to me; this is about principles.

There is absolutely no doubt that the Trump Administration is creating a federal army to be used at the President's  disposal to terrorize and subjugate the people of the United States of America. The immigrants are just a Trojan horse for this, but the long-term plan of the Trump Administration is to use force to terrorize citizens and stop them from exercising their liberties under the United States Constitution. This is a classic move of tyrants and predicted by the Founders.

For some time, I have been warning that it was only a matter of time before the federal ICE agents would begin assassinating American citizens, and now it appears that that has happened.

The Trump Administration has repeatedly and systematically violated states' rights and the rights of individual citizens in this War on Immigrants. From the beginning of my campaign, I have been calling for an end to the war on immigrants and calling on Congress to enact rational 21st century immigration reform. This is now needed more than ever. We cannot let the federal government continue to terrorize our states, our cities, our communities, and murder our citizens.

It self-evident that the federal government intends to continue this tyranny and kill more US citizens with this ICE army.  The Trump Administration is unrepentant and intends to use this murder as a show of force, to put fear in the hearts and minds of the People. This must be put to an end.

The murder of Ms. Goode should be investigated, the individual who killed her charged and brought to justice. However, it seems unlikely that the federal government will cooperate or investigate this matter. This means, unfortunately, that we will probably see the federal government use this as a test case to figure out how to kill more US citizens in order to continue its mechanisms of repression.

People who care about liberty, regardless of political party, should be united against this scourge, because it truly threatens us all. While some Trump loyalists today think that they won't be next, they are wrong. They will be next, because this is how tyrants operate.   Only a craven bootlicker would support this heinous act of murder.

It's time to end this regime of madness. In 2026, voters in Montana's Second Congressional District will have a choice of electing people who will put a check on President Trump, put an end to this insanity, and get this country back on the right track.
