It's time to end the Trade War with Canada- Reps. Downing and Zinke must put the People of Montana First Again and vote for S.J. Resolution 37

ree

Common sense shows that Trump's economic policies have been an utter disaster for the United States of America. In particular, one of the worst policies of the Trump Administration for Montana has been the trade war with Canada.

As a candidate for office, I have personally talked to voters who have been harmed by Trump's trade war with Canada, because Montana does a substantial amount of business with our Canadian neighbors to the north. The sudden imposition of tariffs has been damaging for our farmers, ranchers, and small businesses in a very serious type of way by irrationally increasing costs and upsetting business plans. Montanans are losing money from the trade war with Canada each and every day; and yet, our Montanan Congressional delegation has failed to help our farmers, ranchers, and small businesses.

It is time to do something to end the pain that the Trump Administration is causing for the People of Montana.

The Senate recently passed S.J. Resolution 37, which would repeal the tariffs on Canada. Now is the time for rational, common-sense Montanans to come together and pressure Representatives Zinke and Downing to do the right thing and vote for this bill when it comes to the House floor. This must be done to save our Montana economy from further ruin before it is too late and Canada moves on.

This is a key issue in my campaign to represent the people of Montana's Second Congressional District. If you would like to get involved in this effort, please visit my website, friend me on Facebook, and look for your opportunity to get involved on this issue. It is time to starting putting the People of Montana first again.
