Live and let live: Respect
LGTBQ rights
 

When it comes to LGTBQ rights, my motto is

simply "Live and let live".  I don't need to be 

messing around in everyone's personal business

all the time; and neither does anyone else, in my opinion.   I don't like to see hatred directed towards people based on their sexual orientation.  People should be allowed to live peacefully.  At the same time, it is not the job of government to force people to accept everyone else's lifestyle. Every free citizen gets to make up their own mind about how they feel on this issue; it is important, however, that we tolerate differences and allow people to be themselves.  This is actually a classical Republican position, and it is the one I take.
