Women's issues-bodily autonomy,
and respect.

If you study history, you know that women used

to be treated like property.  Eventually, they 

graduated to getting the right to vote.  But as

we all know, the struggle for equality continues to this day.

This issue is where my classical "Lincoln Republican" tendencies kick in.  I just can't stand to see people subject to abuses of power.  And that is what women continue to deal with all over America.

I know that some people have very strong feelings about abortion, but I am going to always come down on the side of trusting women and guaranteeing their right to bodily autonomy.  But that is not enough.  We need to understand that women and men are different and that women's priorities need to be respected in our governmental structures.  This includes eliminating all forms of sexism, discrimination, and general bullshit.   If you've followed me on social media, you know I am serious about this issue.  I've been outspoken on sexism, misogyny, and the rest of it.  As an attorney, I've fought for those values on behalf of women.  I will continue to do so if elected to Congress.
